Matzah Toffee for Passover

Matzah Toffee (Will make 2 cookie sheets of toffee)

  • 6-7 Pieces of Matzah
  • 4 Sticks Butter
  • 2 Cups Brown Sugar
  • 1 11.5 oz Bag Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1 11.5 oz Bag Milk Chocolate
  • 1 8oz Bag Toffee Bits
  • 4 oz Melted White Chocolate


Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper. Spray with cooking spray. Lay matzah on parchment paper so touching nut not overlapping (side by side). Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat. Add brown sugar and bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Pour over prepared matzah on cookie sheets. Place in preheated oven for about 5 minutes. Melt white chocolate. Lay chocolate chips on top. I place back in oven for 2-3 minutes to melt chocolate. Spread evenly over your layer of matzah. Sprinkle toffee bits over top. Drizzle with melted white chocolate. Place in fridge to cool for about 2-3 hours. Cut or break into pieces. Store in airtight container in the fridge.
